I was born with these wings.
My mother left me in a salamander outpost.
Wings? Why don't she abandon her with the humans, like that hybrid was?
Salamanders outposts are not really villages; since salamanders are always in love journeys, outposts are places of rest for wounded warriors, the oldest or pregnant, who left their children on them to leave again.
There they are collectively taken care of by the elder or temporal residents; since those who want to access have to contribute in some way, travelers share their acquired knowledge to the young and prepare them to leave.
Since there no male salamanders, we search the strongest one possible in other species and we give birth to another salamander in the outposts.
It's normal to learn from dozen of teachers.
But I was not normal.
I was a freak and the others bullied me.
