The explanation about symbiosis is a little more complex but i decided to simplify it for an absurd comic. Symbiosis are esentially the result or taking your elemental affinity to the fullest. Almost all living creatures have an element since they’re born, normally decided by race, except on humans or incompletes who are more random; and almost all have an inher special power that no one can explain. This power is related to their element, so they have to train with equipment of that element to increase their affinity and reach full potential.
