I'm confused, what happened to the original body's soul?
Was it cast into the demon realm instead of Haarp?

Or is this literally reincarnation into a namekian boyd?

I meant the original owner of that body.

If Haarps soul 'usurped it', that means it originally belonged to someone else ((or would have) i suppose. What happened to that soul.

Ahhhh. The original soul of Piccolo´s body is Piccolo´s... but here Piccolo never got killed. He was trapped in the rice cooker.
So, Piccolo´s soul remained in Piccolo´s senior body.
And now is in the other world since it was linked to Kamisama´s.

I mean, we have no indication of when the "soul" is created/reincarnated in Dragon Ball. The Pokopen ritual probably just replaces the original soul that would have inhabited the body with that of a demon, so the soul that would have been "chosen" from the Other World to reincarnate in that body just isn't chosen, and stays in Other World.

Something just came to mind.

If Haarp's soul is a demon's, then shouldn't it have been sent straight to hell when he was killed by Radditz?

Edit: That being said, Haarp was never truly evil I guess.
Or at least not as evil as his father.
If Piccolo Daimao was Chaotic Evil, Haarp would be Chaotic Neutral or Lawful Evil, I guess.
