je sais pas il a l'air d'avoir des don de prémonition le petit; et puis "i had to" c'est l'obligation au passé en anglais... remplace le must du présent...

Peut-être que la traduction adéquate aurait du être : je devais être en train de ramasser ces pierres lorsque tu t'es éloigné.
Ou sinon, la traduction est bonne et il a donc des dons de prémonitions.
