Sunday Best

I woke up early one Sunday morning in July 2011. I made a beat by looping my favorite parts of "Chance With You" by Brother to Brother. Then I made this digital painting to accompany the song in a YouTube video: [link]

In this image, I sought to capture the colors and shapes that the song conjured in my mind. Asymmetrical but round, bright and light yet slightly earthy.

Silver Centurion

I created this digital painting in the summer of 2011 to accompany a video of one of my Nik Furious songs. Video here: [link]

The imagery is inspired by Iron Man's mid-80s Silver Centurion armor as well as the sound of the song itself. You can listen to more Nik Furious jams like this on my Superior Tech mixtape: [link]
