I would like to thank everyone who took the time to read my post about working on a long term VN. I’m so, so grateful so many people took the time to do that and reach out. It’s definitely not the happiest of things to share experiences about, but I think anything that we all struggle with this much is worth discussing.
On that note I would like to share the posts where people have related their own experiences. I’m doing this instead of rebloging them so I don’t flood my followers dashes. These things, despite being negative, are a core experience while making bigger visual novels. Loneliness especially has come to light as being a common feeling shared amongst most of us. Maybe something like this can make us all feel a little less alone for a while.

I also had a number of people reply in their tags and on twitter so wow, was it amazing to hear from you all! I want to hug you all you sweet things. If nothing else, at least we know we are all in the boat of loneliness and suffering together!
I would also like to thank hidden-masquerade for translating the post into French! That was super cool of you and I think it’s great that you are helping to bridge language barriers like this!
