Nope! That tournament was in the 756 (it was the third tournament we saw), this is the year 753 (it´s the second tournament)... this would be Tien´s and Chiaotzu´s first appearence in the original.
Remember Pilaf freed Piccolo much earlier in this Universes, because of the Red Ribbon.

i mean like, as a child of the Piccolo Daimaō would appear and nobody but only the main characters know who he is and both r absolute beasts

I feel like Toriyama didn't draw characters as adults until the age of 18 cause in the 22nd Budokai Krillen was 16 or 17 and still looked the same
