And also, I mean no disrespect for this, but the edit of Yamcha's face on the pod is hilarious.

Oh Gohan... You are as polite as ever, even to your unknown enemy! I now understand where Goku got his kindness and his knack for mercy to his most dangerous foes.

I am honestly glad that Gohan was able to save Yamcha in time. He lucked out on having extra Senzus! Dr. Gero would have a less experienced fighter if he abducted Yamcha now, instead of much later in time. He still needs to train with Kami, Mr. Popo, and King Kai!

If I were to guess when Yamcha will be abducted, I predict it will take place after the Saiyan Saga, when the Z-Fighters get stuck in the hospital after running out of Senzu Beans. Krillin and Tien would go to Namek, while Yamcha would be stuck in the Wukong Hospital. Being totally helpless, he would be easy pickings for Doctor Gero to take.

I assume you are referring to Doctor Gero? I honestly do not think so. I think this will make Gero more zealous to capture a strong fighter like Yamcha. Being a martial artist, he would be a far better candidate for creating the most powerful cyborg, instead of two rebellious teenagers.

Even without a strong motivator to seek revenge on, like Goku in our universe or King Piccolo in this one, Gero still had plans of taking over Earth with his cyborgs with the help and funding of the Red Ribbon Army. Yamcha better watch out, because he is on Gero's radar now!

Most likely, but not 17 since he isn't that far in the numbering of his Androids yet.

We don't know when Gero caught Lapis and Lazuli,so it is plausible that he gives the nr when Gero is done making them, not while he is making them. So it isn't impossible that this Yamucha would be made into Android 17

Pensándolo bien, parece ser que el destino también lleva a Gero a encontrarse primero con Yamcha antes que cualquier otro guerrero Z (bueno si le disparo a Yajirobe pero no fue en sí un "encuentro" :P).
