Although in general my ratings on the Arkham staff often are rigorous and focused on the psychological approach of the subject discussed, in this case I see it as my obligation to make an exception, due to the complexity and diversity of the subjects mentality . So my review will focus on the recruitment of the subject itself and my evaluation of this act.
Edmund Faust: 20 years have pass since the time that we were trying to capture him and force him to confess all of his crimes. He was led in one of the safest rooms available in our organisation. An impregnable room considered to be a place of maximum security, the best in the whole world. Our first reaction to his escape was only disbelieve. It took him less that half an hour to escape while in the meantime he found time to visit our technology department avoiding our vigilant system while cutting off the power on all monitors and instalations of the organisation . In other words: He took all ARKHAM completely at the age of 69. Had it not been for your swift intervention, the place would have been completely dismantled, or worse still, what lies beneath the skin of ARKHAM would have come to light. And this is what I consider to be your biggest accomplishment President: Instead of eliminating this dangerous enemy, you turned him into one of our most valuable allies, and all these simply with a little help from these tiny and precious red pills. You prolonged his vitality and life expectancy into unhuman terms but also you activated his already extraordinary brain power, providing him with an even bigger memory and a monstrous computing power.
Obviously that did not help to cure his lustful depravity for everything related to female gender (especially underwear), and neither did cure his addiction to knowledge, which led his mind to split into two: one part of it is in need to continuously work , create, imagine, and the other just needs to unleash his lustful actions. But, since any attempt to keep captive has been a failure, you gave him the chance to challenge his own mind, and that was the prison that he himself created for him : the only prison that can not escape.
As always, never cease to amaze me, Sincerely, |
