Fact #1: Ravens will eat pretty much anything.

Tengu are depicted in so many different ways that I have a little freedom with his design. Originally, they were shown as scary man/bird demons and later their image evolved to the more humanoid one commonly seen in masks (red face with a rather long nose). My favorite type is that of a humanoid black-feathered bird.

Additionally, I’ve noticed that Tokyo has a shitload of ravens (there is really no other word to use aside from ‘shitload’), so many that they seem to vastly outnumber pigeons and have become a common nuisance. Reading up on ravens has exposed me to a lot of interesting information which I plan on weaving into my tengu’s design and personality. Anyway, thanks for your kind words, guys! I’m so glad you don’t hate my bird-guy, seriously. I am gushing at your interest in him.
