I actually love the way people look naturally—without any makeup on, you know—when people first wake up. The tousled hair, the bare face, the fresh eyes after being suppressed in darkness all night. It’s sensitive vulnerability, the true person is revealed and is free from all masks. I think people are beautiful the way they are.
