31: Most prized possession?
Monks don’t have many possessions, but he always keeps a specific white ribbon somewhere on his person (either in his clothing or tied around his wrist/arm).
33: Concept of home and family?
Shichi was sent to the temple at a young age (around 12) because he wanted to study. Afterwards, he was only able to visit his family once every 10 years or so. Even so, they mean very much to him.
He has a strong relationship with both of his parents — he was the 7th child, though nearly all of his siblings didn’t make it past eggs. Only two survived — his older sisters. Shichi was rather close with them before he decided to leave.
In the temple, he sees (or rather, saw) the other monks as a different kind of family. Many of them grew up together from childhood and have lived with one another for decades (Shichi and Shusei are from the same village and joined at the same time). Both families are very important to him, though he sees his ‘real’ one very rarely.
Thanks for asking! The full list is here. :)
