It is normal in fact the character doesn´t understand him really much, It´s like a mistery story... where there´s an storyline for the chapter, wich one you will understand, but the whole story in general there will be always things that are in darkness... and of course, what i love most from x-files... an non-closed end... jeje

Yeah the truth is that in this part, I did not know if it would make grace this second joke, because it have a sense of repetition when before Jameson says "I'll have a lively funeral. "
