No es exactamente un remake de la antigua película, es una historia completamente diferente, y incluso Godzilla no tiene lugar en ella, pues solo está ahí, pelea con las dos polillas gigantes y ya está...
A pesar de eso, la historia entre Mothra y Battra (su hermano...creo...o algo parecido) es muy interesante, pues Mothra se trata de la protectora del Cosmos, y mantiene la balanza de la naturaleza. Cuando la balanza se cambia por los humanos, Battra es quien debe castigarlos.
Es interesante, aunque debería haberse llamado Mothra & Battra VS Godzilla.
