Dear Mr. President,

I honestly don't understand what interest you may have concerning a matter as absurd as this folktale. A subject, so endlessly repeated in American popular culture, it seems that most people hate hearing about it (or even ridicule people to stop others from taking it seriously).

Examples of the subject would be the feature film "Men in Black" in 1997, or on the small screen the series "The X Files" or "Fringe". They were also the inspiration for the character "Agent Smith" in the "Matrix" movies and the guards in the movie "Dark City", to name a few.

The prevailing opinion, even among proponents of the UFO phenomenon, is that the Men in Black are purely folklore within ufology, the result of media influence, the collective imagination and autosuggestion.
Although there are scholars who believe that there is real element to the issue because of cases of extortion and threats made researchers researchers, for example, Albert K. Bender. One possible explanation is that the myth arose because of the dark colored clothing used by many CIA, FBI and Secret Service agents.

The phenomenon of the mothman come close to land adjacent to ufology, including "MIB".

DEFINITION:
Men in black (MIB) were, according to the most popular contemporary tradition and speculation of some groups who believe in the extraterrestrial phenomenon, are an alleged extra-governmental intelligence agency charged with helping hide a hypothetical extraterrestrial presence on earth. Sometimes it is implied that they are aliens themselves.

APPEARANCE:
Dressed in impeccable black suits, they travel in cars of the same color, predominantly older model Cadillacs.
Their complexions are generally dark or pale, with vaguely Asian facial features and their voices are often reedy or of a metallic resonance.
Their manners are polite but intimidating and they never deem to have the usual daily hygiene items expected of travelers.
There have also been reports of telepathic communication, dreamlike experiences, and other disconcerting events in their presence.

FUNCTION:
The MIB are meant to confuse or intimidate researchers and witnesses of UFOs and extraterrestrial visitors and phenomena, and have supposedly confiscated alleged evidence of alien presence in order to preserve it from public knowledge

ORIGIN:
Perhaps the first time the MIB were mentioned was in September 1953. Albert K. Bender, announced he had discovered the truth about UFOs, and published it in the next issue of his magazine. This issue was never published, as Bender supposedly was visited by three men who confirmed his assumptions but forbade him to reveal them.

(If ARKHAM wasn't created after 2000, it would seem to be speaking of us.)

(If you joined all these details in a single individual, it would be difficult to go unnoticed).

(Actually the authority he needed no excuses to snatch anything).

if somebody wants to read it, can.. if not.. they will understand the story as well.. probably not so much the misteries... but the story will be no affected.
